Widgets - Updated
UPDATED 10/10/25 - Widgets are COMING NOVEMBER 2025!
So widgets will be coming to Yoodoo in 1 months time. We have 3:
1. A timeline widget: Shows the current task and the next task
2. A List widget: Shows the top 3 tasks in your list.
3. A focus timer widget: Shows a current focus timer session on the home and lock screens (can be paused and restarted)
These are going to be our first ever widgets and hopefully should be super useful to everyone who loves widgets!

I second this! I only just downloaded Yoodoo in part because I want to move away from using Google for things (and away from corporate surveillance) and Yoodoo not collecting so much data is very attractive, but so far I haven't found any app that has a widget as good as Google's for being able to see all my calendar events and tasks at a glance

Love it. OK. So would you prefer to-do’s or the calendar? People tell me a counter for progress through the day would be great. Maybe I’ll do all 3 - will start with just the timeline though. What do you think? Would you find this useful?

For me, the to-do list integrated into a calendar in the daily schedule view is what's been such a game changer about Google calendar - knowing where I'll need to be AND what I'll need to do all in one glance.
The other nice things about the gcal daily view widget is that I can scroll down in it for about a week, so I can also glance at tomorrow

for me, I need something even simpler. Something I can look at that only has the tasks at hand and that has a quick button to mark them off, basically a checklist. it sits on my home screen so every time I open my phone I can see it. This isn’t my image but this is what it looks like

I have been looking for an app that has a widget showing only current task or the next one of no task scheduled for now. I think it would be great to not get distracted with planning juste have a reminder of what I should be doing now always on my home screen

This would be very helpful as I've migrated over from other apps which had this and really missing the widgets. Is this still on the horizon?

Hi Shalik. It is yes. I'm curious, what would you like to see in your widgets? That way I can design them then quickly make them a priority 😄

Personally I think Taskito is a good example. A timeline with calendar and tasks, but also the possibility to see checklists under the tasks. And its interactive.

I like this thanks. The timeline can be done for sure. As for checklists - maybe - though probably not for the first version, but yes I see the useful of this :) - thanks.
