Accountability Rooms (virtual)
Make it possible for users to enter/create/share accountability rooms with others/friends so everyone can help/see/support each other in realtime as they work on their tasks.
Ta-Da List
To do list are nice, but something that really motivates me is looking at all the things I did eve if they were not planned ahead, So it would be nice to be able to have a ta-da list or even a way to quickliy add already completed tasks without having to add a new task just to check it complete
Family Sharing
Please add family sharing so we don’t have to pay for the subscription 3 times 😂 very neurodivergent household!
be able to mark tasks/calendar events as non-conflicting
I might not be phrasing this exactly right in the title, but what I mean is that I want to be able to designate a task as something that can happen simultaneously with other things. For example, part of my morning routine is I sit under a sun lamp and go over my upcoming day. The sun lamp task is half an hour long but I want to be able to schedule things during it without getting the ❗ alert. Or, I have a calendar event for the entirety of my 9-5 workday, and obviously I am doing things during that time, but right now anything I add that takes place between the hours of 9 and 5 on a weekday will trigger the ❗ that it's overlapping tasks.
Enable the ability to add locations to tasks.
Add Eisenhower Matrix
Start by creating a box and dividing it into four squares. Label the x-axis as Urgent and Not Urgent and label the y-axis as Important and Not Important. Divide tasks between the four boxes. Tasks in the Important-and-Urgent quadrant should be addressed as soon as possible.
Daily Tips/Affirmations
On start-up, show a tip or affirmation for the day
Symptom tracker / check-in
I would like a way to track within the app whether I’m having a “as well as can be expected 5/5 ADHD day” or a “dear god today is spaghetti brain 0/5" day. This could be tied to user defined fields (medication, dosage, wears off at X) and hopefully shed some light on any emerging patterns. I’m supposed to be tracking this but my brain says no. I know this can’t be the everything to everyone app, but thought I’d throw that out here as “track this stuff” is a task within YooDoo I just do not do.
Make an app version for iPad and Apple Watch
It would be so useful having Yoodoo on all my devices. Please could you do this? 🙂
Smaller Time Increments
15 mins is too big of time increments for me! Maybe be able to show timeline as one set of increments, and tasks can be as granular as one minute!
Features being developed RIGHT NOW
10Actively being built
Add note and defer
Should a task not be completed in one go, make it possible to add a note and defer/get a reminder on where to continue from where you have left off. make this really obvious and simple.
Burnout notifyer
Get a notification for when you are spending too much time on a certain task or series of tasks, or have too much ‘on’.
Talking reminders
Have it so the next tasks are read out loud instead of just being sent as a standard notification.
Create a library of routines/recurring tasks/routines
So we are creating a brand new suggested library of tasks for ‘quick-add’s (quick’picks), and templates for users to quickly and easily add to their Lists and Timelines n an instant.
Hide completed section
In the to-do section, when the task is completed, it is quite easy to delete it. Personally, I would like to have the option to hide the list of completed tasks, for example, in the setting there could be a toggle button to disable visibility.
Auto-adjust
make it possible for Yoodoo to assess how a user is performing and then recommend and adjust the schedule accordingly to their progress/energy levels.
Enable timed subtasks & an adaptive focus timer
As a user I want to be able to assign times to subtasks (using AI), so when I use the focus timer it adjusts with the subtask times. I also want to be able to extend the time within the timer too.
An 'Inspire me' button!
When a user is not sure where to start, or needs some inspiration of what to do, Yoodoo can suggest a task from their task list, or create an AI-generated recommendation to inspire the user to start something. Users can shuffle though the recommendations till they are happy with it. This will only display for tasks that are starting right there and then, for instant inspiration for spur of the moment action.
Automatically Push Back Overlapping Events
I love the red exclamation points that alert the user to overlapping events in the timeline. It would also be nice to have a pop-up option after moving an event to push all conflicts back until the next large enough gap in the schedule so I don't have to manually move every task. There could also be an “Always on” option to select in the app settings for those who want this feature every time.
Increase the tasks limit for the free version
I know why it's low. I get it but can you make the free version more practical. I can't use it as much as i need it and i know i should just upgrade but beside the fact that I'm broke there's also the fact that a great amount who need this app won't have the money for that. I appreciate all the work you've done into this and i really love it but just increase the limits at least a little bit (this is the best app for to do lists I've met so far and this is the only part i dont like about it.. But the rest? Fabulous 😔❤️)

Desktop version (COMING 2026)
Create a desktop version of Yoodoo Update – December 2024: I’ve decided to put the desktop version on hold until 2026. The main reason? Developing a desktop version takes a lot of time and resources, and as a solo indie developer, I need to prioritize what makes the biggest impact right now. My focus for 2025 is on making the current mobile apps as amazing as they can be. Once they’re at their best, I’ll shift my attention to bringing Yoodoo to desktop and web. Thanks for your patience—it’s on the roadmap, and I can’t wait to share it with you when the time comes!
2-Way Calendar Sync
To make it possible for tasks in Yoodoo’s calendar to also be displayed in external calendars like Google/Outlook etc
Widgets - Updated
UPDATED 10/10/25 - Widgets are COMING NOVEMBER 2025! So widgets will be coming to Yoodoo in 1 months time. We have 3: 1. A timeline widget: Shows the current task and the next task 2. A List widget: Shows the top 3 tasks in your list. 3. A focus timer widget: Shows a current focus timer session on the home and lock screens (can be paused and restarted) These are going to be our first ever widgets and hopefully should be super useful to everyone who loves widgets!
Dark mode/personalisation
Make it possible for users to apply custom colours and a dark mode to personalise their Yoodoo interface.
Bring me back when I'm distracted
Make it possible for the app to detect when I am distracted or have gone down a social media rabbit hole and bring me back on track.
AI-Schedule creator
Use AI to create complex routines and schedules that can be instantly applied to a users schedule in just a few taps. Make this smart so users can modify the schedules in real-time with just their voice.
Select and move multiple tasks up or down on the timeline
This would make me pay for your app without hesitation, as I often have to reschedule several items because something comes up, or when I have a morning where it's really hard to start my tasks so I need to postpone them. I also posted on Reddit about this: finding a good calendar and tall management app that 1) two-way syncs with Google calendar, and 2) lets me reschedule several items at once. Your app is the closest I've found because of the templates (and especially the ability to remove a whole template from a day when the plans change!!🥳👌), but I still sorely miss the “select and move multiple items”.
Focus timer - Extend time
If I’m working on a task and I want to extend the time, make it possible to do this from within the timer during a task. Hav eit so this also reschedules future tasks accordingly.
Let me see the timeline as a monthly view
UPDATED: 10/12/24 - Weekly view design in comments. At the moment the timeline has just a day view, but a monthly view would be very useful, perhaps a weekly one too. Make this possible.
Assign subtasks to Timeline
Make it easy for users to assign subtasks to timelines (currently only tasks can be assigned)
